This new line of unisex scents pays tribute to Takada’s creative spirit, drawing inspiration from the contemporary aesthetic of K-3’s existing collections and his remarkable life journey.

The fragrance collection introduces three distinctive scents, each crafted to reflect pivotal moments in Takada’s life and career. Collaborating with esteemed perfumers from DSM-Firmenich, the fragrances are designed to evoke sensory experiences that celebrate the legendary designer’s legacy.

The first scent, 39 Blue Moss, is named after Takada’s birth year, 1939. This fragrance captures the essence of his childhood in Japan, drawing on the natural beauty of Japanese gardens and the lush woods of the Hyogo region. With notes of sparkling bergamot, blooming jasmine, and fresh moss, this botanical scent brings to life the freshness and serenity of Takada’s early years.

64 Gardenia is a tribute to Takada’s arrival in Marseille, France, in 1964, a place that deeply influenced his life and work. This white floral bouquet combines jasmine, roses, and gardenia flowers to encapsulate the warmth and allure of the French city that became Takada’s cherished home.

The final fragrance, 85 Tonka, is inspired by the year 1985, when Takada conceptualised his traditional Japanese house in Paris. This scent offers an enveloping and spiced woody aroma, blending sandalwood and tonka beans to create a warm contrast with green cardamom and cypriol at its heart. Hints of smoked cade and creamy vanilla add depth, evoking the mystery and comfort of Takada’s personal sanctuary in the heart of Paris.
