Cheap Monday, the renowned denim brand from Weekday, has made a striking comeback with a fresh collection and an impactful new campaign starring American artist Nessa Barrett. Founded in 2004, Cheap Monday is reviving its legacy with a modern twist that continues to champion bold, authentic self-expression.

The relaunch introduces a range of denim that reflects the diverse and dynamic traits of contemporary youth culture. Nessa Barrett, known for her raw gothic pop music and candidness about mental health, is the face of this new chapter. Her authentic and edgy persona aligns perfectly with the brand’s ethos, making her an ideal representative for the collection.

Alice Shulman, Cheap Monday’s design lead, commented, “At its core, Cheap Monday is about confidently expressing identities, and Nessa Barrett embodies this spectrum of creativity. She’s a blend of raw emotion and gothic edge, making her a natural fit for our brand.”

Barrett echoed this sentiment, saying, “Cheap Monday’s unapologetic style mirrors my own, merging raw emotion with a gothic flair. Collaborating with them felt instinctive; they truly reflect my bold and honest approach to self-expression.”

The new Cheap Monday collection includes seven denim fits for women: Sleezy Low, Sleezie High, Sleezie Straight, Booty Bei, Flare Low, Anti Low, and Poser. Men’s options feature six core fits: Rad Super, Looser, Boo Bootleg, Anti, Issue, and Sleaze. The collection also includes a limited-edition capsule of jersey tops that showcase Barrett’s multifaceted persona.

“This debut drop is all about genre-defying denim,” Shulman added. “We’ve explored styles from indie sleaze stretch to radically loose and anti-fit designs, with finishes like dirt, spray, worn, and torn, in shades of blue, black, and grey. These jeans truly capture the essence of Cheap Monday.”

The new collection will be available starting September 5 on weekday.com, in selected Weekday stores, and at other retailers.
